I want to grow my nest eggs for my Retirement... But i am overwhelmed with many financial commitments and drowned with endless bills.

Do you feel that there is always unexpected expenses cropped up like home or car repair costs? Your aged parents or children fallen ill and require medical fees?

Credit cards debt with its high interest seems like a never ending burden?

With the rising cost of living, you need more money to cover your basic monthly expenditures?

I fully understand how you feel, because I have been there as well and witnessed many others were in the same state of stress and anxiety too when the subject of Retirement surfaced.

All kinds of doom and gloom thoughts were running through my mind; Do you have the same self-talk like I did:

“What is life like at the end of the day when I stop working?”

“Do I have the means to live it up?”

“Do I have the time to accumulate the resources to meet even my basic needs?”

Those questions became more scarily real and pressing with each passing day.

My mother used to say this to me: “Always make sure you have some money in your wallet as that will give you some sense of security and never have an empty wallet.” Even up to this day, when we go out with our mother, she knows that her expenses will be taken care of by her children, yet she still insists to bring her cash-filled purse along.

Today if you are serious about charting out your retirement plan so that you will be able to quit the rat race, this course is for you.

My Personal Experience

I have been working in the financial services industry for the last 16 years and have risen from a Financial Consultant to Wealth Manager.

Before I joined the financial industry, my concept of money and financial management was zero. I did not have savings and I spent every bit of my earnings the moment I received my pay cheque.

As I used to work for a Taiwanese boss, i had no knowledge about CPF hence there was no CPF contributions to my account for a good 15 years of employment with my Taiwanese boss.

When I was exposed to the financial world of wealth management, I realised how fallen short I was towards building up my wealth for my future and needless to say, retirement. In fact, I have this warped mindset that I would NEVER be able to buy my flat and have a decent roof over my head because for many Singaporeans, we should have a fat CPF balances that could help us to kick start ownership of our first property. As for me, I had ZERO CPF as well as ZERO CASH for down payment, money needed for agent’s commission and home renovations. My financial woes compounded with debt amount closed to $50,000 as I was badly burnt in the stock market.

When I crossed the magical age of 35, it seemed to me that life horizon was getting shorter and all of a sudden I felt so inadequate and insecure about my future. The sense of crisis was becoming more real and urgent.

Fast forward, with the financial knowledge and the determination after I joined the financial industry in Year 2005, I have achieved these various milestones:

1)   Year 2006 : Paid off my personal loan

2)   Year 2008 : Bought my flat with down payment in cash and started building up my CPF and nest eggs for my retirement

3)   Year 2020 : Paid off my housing loan in cash and became debt FREE

I have helped many individuals turned around their finances literally from negative cash flow to positive cash flow, become proud owner of their own home (even bigger and nicer than mine) becoming landlords collecting rental income.
