We all want the best for our kids, I still remembered 3 years ago when I hold my precious daughter, Ashley in my arms, I asked myself "Can I become a super good Mummy & give all my best to her?" "What is my goal of raising her?"
After attending many courses with my husband, Aaron, we both realised that a good parent doesn't have to be perfect as no one is perfect. We should set a goal for ourselves first then our daughter second. We will serve as a role model for her.
And from there, I keep working on it & I am moving in the right direction on improving parenting skills.
I am the first person want my kid to be financially independent. Remember when it comes to money management, don't let yourself do it alone. Involve your child for talking about financial responsibility and independence as a part of our daily life. Even Ashley is 3 years old, she find it more fun learning with us for counting coins & dollars!
There is no such thing as loving your kids too much. Loving your kids cannot spoil them but only when you choose how to do and what you give.
What kind of love can equal the things like you want to give? Like us, we always giving her a big hug, spending time with her & listening to her ABC words.
Remember let your kids know that you will always be there for them by being responsive to their signals and help them to explore what their needs. By doing it you can help them to have 5 important developments:
