7 Days Chinese Bootcamp

Hi, I am Language Player, Jossie.

I love learning languages and helping people to learn languages. I have been learning my second, third and fourth language for more than 10 years. Having the ability to speak different languages allows me to travel the world freely and make friends easily with people from different cultural backgrounds. In this bootcamp, I want to share with you the most commonly used Chinese words, phrases and sentences.

I want to first share that I also struggled with learning a new language. In fact, when I first started learning a foreign language, I had no idea how to use them in daily life or during travel. I am afraid of speaking a new language because I was too afraid of making mistakes. I admire people who can speak different languages fluently and express their thoughts clearly. I wanted to be like them one day, so I went to a foreign language college, where I must speak the new language to the teachers and classmates everyday in order to communicate. After that, things changed, I find that learning a new language is like playing NS-SHAFT game, you get better and better each time, and you can always find different ways to beat the level.

After learning a couple of different foreign languages, I find that there are some universal rules, which are speaking without fear, practicing frequently and combining with other interests, in learning a new language. And in this bootcamp, I combine Chinese with travelling, sharing commonly used Chinese words, phrases, and sentences. You can practice along with the videos and use them when you travel to Chinese speaking countries. At the end of the bootcamp, your can pack and start your journey.^^
